Get into endurance racing. Start with the goal.

I race endurance in GT cars, and I share the car with drivers who want to race. Tell me your goal and what you drive now. I will help you pick the series, prepare, and race with you where the class rules allow it.

Six race wins. Five endurance. One sprint. Five in shared cars.

Why I do this

A class win at the Rolex 24.

I want to win my class at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. I am building the skills, relationships and dependable team around that goal. Helping other drivers develop belongs in that work.

I overlap as a driver, coach, engineer and software builder. I can help evaluate a team as well as a lap. The right environment needs credible car preparation, clear driver feedback, competitive teammates and enough support to learn instead of just survive the weekend.

My WRL Supra GT4 experience includes taking the car from mid-pack to the lead during stints at Mid-Ohio and Road Atlanta.

Coaching wins. Drivers I have coached have won at VIR, Apex Motor Club, Laguna Seca, Sonoma Raceway, Road America, Road Atlanta, Thunderhill, Daytona and Mid-Ohio.

Track coaching through Corkscrew can sit alongside ongoing simulator preparation, video review and a shared progress plan. Discuss coaching →

Quantify EVERYTHING.

Feel something. Measure it. Change it. Verify it.

Assess first.
Your goals, current experience, schedule, resources and appetite for risk determine the first experiment.
Coach throughout.
Simulator preparation and competitive practice continue alongside track coaching, not only before your first race.
Make the feedback usable.
Review video, available data and driver notes. Use appropriate analysis tools to track repeatability, traffic decisions and race execution over time.
Review the plan.
Build a three-to-five-year direction, then change the schedule when the evidence says another car, team or learning environment fits better.

The route

Pick your route.

Five entry points lead to many programs. You do not need to finish every group, win a championship or hold a rating to talk about your next step.

  3. Win 2 Porsche and IGT

Option group 0. Start where you are

Karting · Simulator · HPDE · Time trial · Club racing

Your current car, a kart, a suitable rental or the simulator.

My role

Your coach in the simulator and at the track. Assess the goal, repeatable habits and gaps before choosing a race car.

What to assess

Assess safety, traffic awareness, repeatability and the organizer's actual approval process.

Option group 1. Team endurance

Lucky Dog · Lemons · ChampCar · AER · WRL · Zenith Racing Series · HSR

Production-based team cars, including series-specific GT options. HSR requires a suitable historic car.

My role

Team sourcing and evaluation, race preparation, simulator coaching, video and data review. A co-drive only when a suitable team, lineup and entry are agreed.

What to assess

Check the specific driver's approval, car class, team operation, stint allocation and weekend support. These series do not share a single novice rule.

Option group 2. Porsche and IGT

PCA Club Racing · POC Club Racing · Porsche Sprint Trophy PCA · Porsche Sprint Trophy POC · Porsche Sprint Challenge · Porsche Endurance Challenge · International GT

Cup and Cayman classes depend on the series. A 911 GT3 Cup car and a Cayman GT4 are different platforms.

My role

Your driver coach across club racing, Trophy and Sprint Challenge. Assess an Endurance Challenge or IGT co-drive separately from a sprint entry.

What to assess

A club-racing license, an eligible chassis and a class entry.

Option group 3. SRO options

GT America · GT4 America · GT World Challenge America

GT America has several eligible platforms. GT4 America is GT4. GT World Challenge America is GT3.

My role

Compare the driving and engineering demands, source a suitable team and build a program. Explore a GT4 America co-drive where the current lineup rules allow it.

What to assess

Match the actual series, license, rating and driver pairing. GT America sprint racing is not the same offer as a two-driver GT4 America program.

Option group 4. IMSA options

VP Racing SportsCar Challenge · Michelin Pilot Challenge · Lamborghini Super Trofeo

Pilot Challenge GS uses GT4, TCR is separate. Super Trofeo is Lamborghini one-make. VP includes distinct prototype and production-based classes.

My role

Plan the team, track preparation and race execution. Pilot Challenge, VP Challenge and Super Trofeo have different cars, lineups and approval requirements.

What to assess

Organizer approval and current class rules govern every entry. Bronze Cup and Super Trofeo LB Cup are narrower class choices, not automatic access.

Option group 5. Rolex 24 ambition

WeatherTech GTD

GTD uses eligible GT3 machinery. It is not Pilot Challenge GS or a Cup-car class.

My role

David wants to win his class at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. Developing drivers and dependable teams is part of that work.

Three ways to plan.

A 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport is a bridge to the GT4 platform. A 911 GT3 Cup car is a different platform from a GT4 or Pilot Challenge GS car. GT4 America and Pilot Challenge run side by side, and you can race either first.

Super Trofeo LB Cup is for beginner Bronze drivers aged 27 or older, after a Lamborghini and IMSA evaluation.

What is the season for?

Chase a championship.

A full campaign rewards consistency, points management and sustained team execution. Plan the complete calendar, testing, travel and support before committing. Missing rounds can matter even when the driver is improving.

Learn the tracks. Build seat time.

A selective-round program can prioritize unfamiliar circuits, longer stints, traffic or a specific car. It can mix simulator work, coaching, testing and races across suitable organizers.

Tell me where you want to be in three to five years, what you drive now and what a workable season looks like. We can evaluate teams, choose a realistic schedule and agree what progress should look like.

The lineup matters.

Some classes let a Bronze driver and coach share a car. Others call for a different pairing or a solo driver. I am Bronze, so I can share the car with you in the classes below.
