Who this fits
Porsche Owners Club racing is a club route for a driver moving from time trials toward wheel-to-wheel competition. Its Racers’ Clinic is an assessment and training process that leads to a Cup Racing License.
It is a separate organization and process from PCA Club Racing. Choose the route that matches your experience, car, event access and intended racing.
Cars and race format
Discuss the Porsche’s exact specification and intended Cup Racing class with POC. The clinic application describes the driver pathway. The class rules set the technical eligibility.
Porsche Sprint Trophy POC is a named 2027 sprint program with its own Cup and Clubsport categories. Porsche Endurance Challenge is the multi-driver comparison when sharing race stints is the primary objective.
Clinic requirements
The 2026 application generally asks for six completed POC time-trial events. Fewer may be considered with documented racing experience. A candidate may be granted a Cup Racing License after two successful clinic weekends, subject to Chief Driving Instructor approval.
A current outside racing license can support a waiver request. Bring an accurate experience record to the clinic.
How I help
I help you prepare an honest experience summary and work on repeatable pace, traffic awareness and usable feedback. I coach at the track and in the simulator, and I review your data with you. The POC instructors run the licensing process.
Questions drivers ask
Are two clinic weekends enough to earn the license?
The weekends must be successful, and the Chief Driving Instructor must approve the candidate.
Can my outside race license waive the clinic?
It can support a waiver request. POC decides on the waiver.
Is this the Sprint Trophy license standard?
Check the club clinic route and the Trophy entry requirements together. See the Sprint Trophy POC overview.
