Who this fits
Porsche Sprint Trophy PCA gives a driver a named Porsche sprint competition within PCA Club Racing weekends. It suits a driver who wants individual race development in a Porsche environment before building a multi-driver endurance program.
It is one part of PCA Club Racing, and it differs from the national Porsche Sprint Challenge. Each has its own entries, classes and licenses.
Cars and co-driving
Porsche’s Trophy PCA page identifies GT3 Cup and Cayman categories. A 911 GT3 Cup car is a different platform from a GT4 car. The 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport is the GT4 platform to assess for a later GT4 program, under its destination’s regulations.
Sprint Trophy is sprint competition. PCA’s broader two-driver-car provisions cover a car shared across run groups. Ask for the specific event rules if you plan to share a car over a weekend.
For an explicitly shared-race option, compare Porsche Endurance Challenge. That moves your preparation from an individual sprint result toward a combined result with driver changes and common setup priorities.
Requirements
PCA Club Racing’s 2026 foundation requires membership, a PCA Club Racing license and age 18 or older. Its rookie and experienced-racer application routes are described in the club guide.
Porsche has announced a 2027 calendar.
How I help
I help you compare a sprint objective with a shared-car objective and find useful work in braking, traffic, consistency and data review. I coach at the track and in the simulator, and I review your data with you.
Questions drivers ask
Does a PCA club license settle Trophy eligibility?
It is the foundation.
Can I split a Trophy race with a coach?
Trophy is a sprint format. A shared car across run groups differs from a driver change in one race, so check the event rules.
Is Sprint Challenge the next step?
It is a separate program with its own entry requirements, as are endurance racing and the GT4 championships.
