Who this fits
Porsche Endurance Challenge North America is the explicit multi-driver Porsche option. It fits a driver whose objective includes sharing the race result, managing stints and working with a teammate rather than racing separate sprints.
The 2027 announcement describes Pro-Am and Am classes, 100-minute races at Sebring, Watkins Glen and Road Atlanta, and a four-hour race at Road America. Check Porsche’s announcement and series page for the round dates.
Cars and co-driving
At Road Atlanta in 2026 I won the Cayman Am class in the No. 49 ACI Motorsports Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, and I drove the final stint.
The Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport is the Porsche to compare when you look at a GT4 destination. A 911 GT3 Cup car is a different platform from a GT4/GS car. Check which car generation and class the current endurance regulations accept before you choose equipment.
Co-driving means agreeing on setup priorities, making the cockpit work for both drivers, rehearsing changes and giving feedback that the next driver can use. The sporting regulations set the roster, class composition and stint rules.
Requirements
You need a competition license, organizer approval, an eligible car and an accepted entry.
How I help
I bring the Road Atlanta shared-car experience to your preparation. I coach the driver change, the stint plan and the feedback you hand to your teammate, at the track and in the simulator, and I review your data with you. Where the class rules allow it, I can share the car with you.
GT4 America and IMSA Pilot Challenge are GT4 programs to plan alongside Porsche experience.
Questions drivers ask
Is this just Sprint Challenge with longer sessions?
No. Sprint Challenge is the sprint program. Endurance Challenge is the explicit multi-driver option, with its own race and lineup requirements.
What is the race format?
The 2027 announcement lists 100-minute races at Sebring, Watkins Glen and Road Atlanta, and a four-hour race at Road America, in Pro-Am and Am classes.
