Coaching

Team driver coach

I coach a team’s Bronze or Am driver through a race weekend, from the simulator to the debrief. I coach drivers in GT4, Super Trofeo and Porsche Sprint Challenge programs. I quote each program.

Who is this for?

A team manager with a Bronze or Am driver who needs more from a weekend. A driver whose team wants a coach beside them. I coach club, Trophy and Sprint Challenge drivers in Porsche.

What happens before the weekend?

We start with the driver’s experience, the car and the next event. In the simulator the driver learns the references and rehearses the plan. I bring what the driver needs to know about the track, so the first session has a purpose.

What happens at the track?

I work with the driver and your engineers. We combine driver feedback with telemetry, onboard video and session notes. We pick one change, try it in the next run and check whether it repeats. A fast lap helps. Knowing how to repeat it is the goal.

What happens after?

We debrief together. I review the data with the driver and the team. We record what worked, what to test next and what the driver should carry to the next event. A progress review follows the season.

Can your coach also be your co-driver?

Sometimes. GT4 America Am and the Pilot Challenge GS Bronze Cup are for Bronze drivers. I am Bronze, so where the class rules allow it, I can coach you and share the car. See co-driving.

What is the next step?

Use the form below. Tell me your series, your car and your dates. I reply with a quote. Each season is a separate agreement. No seat, result, license or rating is promised.

Quantify EVERYTHING.

Feel something. Measure it. Change it. Verify it.

Coaching connects preparation in the simulator with the work at the track. Start with the driver's experience, the car and the next event. Use the sim to learn references and rehearse a plan before the weekend.

At the track, combine driver feedback with telemetry, onboard video and session notes. Identify a specific change, try it in the next run, and review whether the result is repeatable. A fast lap is useful. Knowing how to reproduce it is the goal.

My work includes run planning, setup feedback, strategy and post-session analysis. My Machine Nerve tools support telemetry, live timing, simulator data and biometrics. The tools inform the conversation. They do not replace the driver's feedback.
