The endurance sim program is for a driver who wants to learn endurance racing before choosing a real car. I am your teammate in the simulator.
What does the program include?
A typical program is four remote sessions and one simulator special event. We agree the scope around your goals. The sessions cover your driving, your stint plan and your driver changes. I review your video and data with you after each one.
What is a simulator special event?
iRacing runs multi-driver endurance events. In 2026 they include the 12-hour 992 Endurance Cup and the Production Car Challenge at VIR. We race one together. You share a car with a teammate, plan the stints and make the driver changes under pressure, with no risk to a real car.
Who is it for?
New racers. Track-day drivers who want to try endurance. Sim racers who want to take the next step. It fits a driver who needs regular practice, structured feedback and preparation between track events.
What does the simulator not do?
It cannot reproduce the physical demands of a real race car. It prepares the habits and the decisions. Supervised real-car learning comes next, and HPDE is one way to get it. Read how to build a simulator routine.
What is the next step?
